It was the late 1960s when Vitale Visconti, with his young family, returned to Italy following a life experience overseas, in South America, in Venezuela. There he managed to settle down, made his way in the building industry and built a company of his own from scratch. He forged important working relationships and was even commended for his work by senior local authorities.

Full of this experience, knowledge and inventiveness, together with his strong, determined and versatile character, on returning home he decided to embark on a similar path; and indeed, that is how, in June 1970, he founded EdilMarmi, with its administrative office and craftsmen's workshop in Campobasso.

From that moment he passed on his passion to his children Antonella, Elisabetta and Marco too, and within a few years a new showroom was opened with a wide selection of indoor and outdoor materials.

Today we have reached the third generation, with Nicola, Bruno and Vitale.
